Description

A multi-band ligator is a medical device that closes (ligates) tissues during minimally invasive endoscopic operations. It is normally packaged in a sterile box with ten reloadable cartridges or a single device with pre-loaded bands.

Types

There are two major forms of Yeoman Rectal Punches:

• Straight jaw: These punches have straight jaws that are aligned with the instrument’s shaft. It is used to collect tissue samples from readily accessible parts of the rectum.
• Downwardly curved jaw: These punches have jaws that slope downward near the tip. This form facilitates access to tissue samples in the upper rectum or behind rectal folds.
