Reverdin Needle

Description

The Reverdin needle is a surgical device used to insert sutures during suturing operations.

Purpose:

• The purpose is to thread sutures. Surgeons utilize it to easily guide suturing material (thread) through tissue.
• The needle has a curved body of about 7.5 inches in length.
• Eye vs. Point: Unlike normal sewing needles, which have an eye at the end, a Reverdin needle has a pointed tip. The suture thread is inserted via a tiny eye near the tip.
• Material: High-quality surgical stainless steel is used to ensure durability and sterility.
