Description

Purpose

• Used by otolaryngologists.
• Helps to see, probe, and remove foreign substances and tissue abnormalities from the nasal cavity.
• Retracts soft tissues such as the alar (the fleshy area of the exterior of the nose) during rhinoplasty (nose surgery) to reveal the underlying structures. This enables surgeons to treat nasal fractures, deviations, and contaminated tissue.
